Summary
System Administrators organize, install and support an organization's computer systems. These include local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and other data communication systems such as intranets or internet within the company. Also, regular work on data security and back up of data of the organization. Periodically work on enhancing system updated and upgrade members by regular training. Works 360 degree on keeping track of all data which is Important and valuable for organization.
Responsibilities
1. Install and configure software and hardware 2. Manage network servers and technology tools 3. Set up accounts and workstations 4. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements 5. Troubleshoot issues and outages 6. Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls 7. Upgrade systems with new releases and models 8. Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies 9. Build an internal process with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies and SOP. 10. Regular Data Backup of members 11. Repair and upto date systems for smooth flow of work. 12. Updating users passwords every three months for security purpose 13. Anti- virus upgrade on regular basis to keep systems and server safe 14. Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely. 15. Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system. 16. Providing technical support when requested. 17. Documenting any processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing system.
